What we collect
Your email, your answers to the song quiz (which will usually include another person's first name and personal memories), your order and payment details (handled by Shopify and its payment processors; we never see your card number), and standard technical data such as IP address and browser.
Why
To write and deliver your song, to provide support and revisions, to take payment, and to send you your preview link and order emails. If you separately opt in, to send you marketing email or SMS. Legal bases under Swiss FADP and EU GDPR: performance of the contract, our legitimate interest in running the service, and your consent for marketing.
Who sees it
Shopify (store and checkout), Anthropic (lyric drafting), Google (music composition), and our email provider. Each processes data only to provide its service to us. Some are outside Switzerland and the EU; transfers rely on their standard contractual clauses.
The other person
The song is about someone who has not spoken to us. We process what you tell us about them only to make the song, keep it for 90 days after delivery to handle revisions, then delete it. We never contact that person and never use their details for anything else.
Retention
Order records: as long as tax law requires. Quiz answers and generated audio: 90 days after delivery, then deleted unless you ask us to keep them. Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, portability, and withdrawal of consent at any time by emailing hello@songkeep.co. You may complain to the Swiss FDPIC or your local EU data protection authority.
Cookies
Only those Shopify needs to run the checkout, plus analytics if you accept them in the banner.
